Research and Development
The research and development division is focused on activities encompassing Pharmacology, Toxicology, Clinical research, Registration, and Product development. Collaborative assignments, both within the company and with research institutes, drive product developmental efforts through the various stages and help produce products of superior quality and safety.

The division is an integration of Formulations R&D, Bulk R&D, Analytical Development and Regulatory Affairs. The division employs a team of over 20 qualified chemists and has demonstrated strengths in applied research through the development of generic APIs and bio-equivalent dosage forms of the highest quality. Operating as integrated units, the teams make efficient use of resources and ensure faster delivery of results. Each team supports the developmental needs of the other and moves the product through the pipeline.

The department works closely with major institutes and hospitals involved in clinical development. Systems have been developed to support clinical research and development, regulatory compliance, pharmacovigilance and the submission of dossiers to regulatory authorities.

Product development efforts are being focused on the therapeutic segments of cardiovasculars, disorders of central nervous system, dermatologicals, pain management, diabetes and gastroenterology.
